I have to admit I did not make use of AtlasQuest at first, mostly
because I missed the comfortable, artsy look and feel of LbNA.
Then I discovered the 3 big benefits of AQ:

- City Centered Proximity Search - Especially good in VA/DC/MD
because a 25 mile search will yield what's close no matter what
state/county it's in.

- Filter Out Finds - I only see what I have not already found. I
don't have to scroll through a hundred boxes hoping I notice the new
ones.

- Track Finds - This makes the "Filter out finds" possible. It is
even more fun for getting notices that someone found your box, even
if they don't write a note. Whether people take the time to write
you a note or not, they want to track their finds, which
automatically triggers a notice to the planter.

Then I discovered you can easily list your boxes in AtlasQuest just
by copying the link from LbNA, and vice versa. Now I get more
notices that my boxes have been found, even though not as many
people are using it yet.

As the hobby gets larger finding the clues, no matter where they
are, LbNA, AQ, wom, plb, HHs, cuckoos, mysterious postings,
travelers, events, becomes part of the fun of the hunt.

I really like the trip planner, too. Tell it what road you're going to be
traveling along, and it'll tell you what boxes are close!

I agree AQ has more to offer, but these benefits would be
more useful if all or most clues in LBNA were in AQ. I was
wondering if there is a plan to automatically put a link
in AQ to any clue in LBNA?

I would hope not without the permission of the placer of each box.

No, AQ will never list boxes without the owner's permission.
